Responsibilities:



Cabinet Officers:

Leader: Supreme Authority
I.
It is the responsibility of the Leader to protect the interests of the
Roman Republic and its members. The Leader has the supreme authority
of its officers and all decision making bodies within the Federation.
The Leader reserves the right not to interfere with its decision making
bodies, so long as the Rome Federation's interests are protected and
served.

II. The Leader holds the authority to appoint the ranks of General, Diplomat, Home-Secretary and Pontifex Maximus.

III. The Leader holds the authority to appoint members to the N.U.N.

Pontifex Maximus: Supreme Authority, Reports to Leader

I.
The Pontifex Maximus represents the 2nd in command of the Rome
Federation and carries the authority of the Leader when the Leader is
not online.

General: Reports to Leader

I.
The General holds the authority to direct and coordinate offensive and
defensive troop movements. Which includes stopping troop movements.

II.
The General holds the authority to monitor the military growth of the
Federation and to encourage military build up if the Federation
requires it.

III. The General reserves the right to promote or demote members to or from the ranks of Praetorian and Centurion.

IV.
The General is responsible to ensure Federation members are informed
and maintain the required minimum military score. Also, the General is
responsible for creating a military network to help the Federation in
the event of war.

Diplomat: Reports to Leader

I.
The Diplomat is responsible for all communications with other
alliances, including the exclusive right to sign peace treaties and the
exclusive right to maintain good relations with other alliances.

II. The Diplomat reserves the right to promote and demote members from the rank of Legatus.

Home-Secretary:
Reports to Leader

I.
Home-Secretary is responsible for maintaing the internal web page,
maintaining the Constitution and its by-laws, recruiting new members,
dismissing current members and ensuring the Constitution is being
upheld.

II. Home-Secretary reserves the right to promote or demote any member to the rank of Praetor.

III. The Home-Secretary will represent or act as leader when the Leader or Pontifex Maximus is not online.

Officers


Praetorian: Reports to General

I. The Praetorian represents the right hand to the General.

II. The rank of Praetorian holds the signature of accomplishment and can only be granted to a Federation Member if it is deserved.

III.
The Praetorian is responsible to maintain a watchful eye on the
Federation and its neighbors. Further, is responsible to maintain a spy
network to build information for the General about current or possible
enemies.

IV. The Praetorian is expected to maintain a formidable military in order to be of assistance to the General and the Federation.

Centurian: Reports to the General

I.
The Centurian is responsible to carryout duties given from the General,
which would include spying on current and possible enemies and find
inactives and leachers for the Federation to target.

Legatus: Reports to the Diplomat

I.
The Legatus is responsible to help recruit new members for the
Federation and help form good relations with other alliances, under the
instruction of the Diplomat.

Primus Praetor: Reports to Home-Secretary

i. Primus Praetor is responsible for the Praetor's and to ensure that the Constitution and By-Laws are followed.

ii. They will act as judge for issues and disputes between federation members.

iii. A Primus Praetor carries the right to remove members from the Federation.

iv. They are responsible to recruit new members for the Federation.

Praetor: Reports to Home-Secretary

i. Praetor is responsible for recruiting new members to the Federation.

ii. Praetor is responsible to ensure the Constitution and By-Laws are followed.

Tribune Senator:
Reports to Leader

Senator: Reports to Tribune Senator

Tribune:

Roman Citizen:

Rome Federation Governing Bodies:


Cabinet: Supreme Governing Body

i. Cabinet is the Supreme Governing Body for the Federation.

ii. Cabinet constits of the Leader, General, Diplomat, Home-Secratary, Pontifex Maximus and Rome2 counterparts.

iii. Officers of Rome Federation may be invited to join meetings.

iv. All former Cabinet members are permitted to attend meetings, unless otherwise stated.

Rome Federation War Council: Reports to Cabinet

i. The War Council is a governing body concerning all matters of war and defense.

ii. The General is the head of the Council and is lead under his/her supervision.

iii. The War Council consists of the General, Praetorians, Centurions and any invited Federation Members. The Cabinet is permitted to join the Council.


ii. In times of War, a Praetorian, acts as the General and carries the authority of the General when the General is not online. Centurions are to follow the Praetorian authority, unless the Centurion is the only one online.

iii. Praetorians and Centurions are the Military Officers.

Senate: Reports to Cabinet

- A Senators must not report to the Tribune Senator. He or she must only report to the Princeps Senatus (from an administrative point of view), and to the Senate and the people of Rome (from his/her responsibilities point of view).
- The Senate must not report to the Cabinet. The Senate is an independent power, working in parallel with and as a consultant and judge for the Cabinet and the Leader.
- Princeps Senatus only reports to the Senate and the people of Rome (for his/her responsibilities), and to the Leader (for administrative affairs).
- The Leader is the highest power in administrative and executive affairs, but his/her actions are judged by the Senate and the people of Rome, and therefore has to report simultaneously to the Senate and the People of Rome (for his/her responsibilities)
